I took a star off because of the sex scenes. There are a more here than in the first book. If you like soft porn, here you go. However, it is easily skipped, which is what I did.

The mob is still involved, but Missy takes care of them, and this time they live to rue their actions with regards to Missy. I suspect we haven't seen the last of them!

good idea but just too many chapters on the sex act for a science fiction novel
Missy is sure increasing her abilities, and making a lots of friends at West Point. What I like about the story is that is that she is trying to help people and do good. Well the author keeps doing excellent and amazing writing.
Easily one of the very best shifter adventure romances EVER! Here is everything from sex to magic, with mysterious government agencies to mobsters thrown in for good measure. Trust me, this is a series you will love, just be sure to buy all the books at the start as you will not want to wait between books.
I loved this story as much as the first book. The only parts I didn't care for were the explicit sex parts. The rest of the story with Missy being her own person and so powerful in so many ways. She was so helpful to her roommates, and others. I particularly liked how she could hold her own against persons trying to capture her. She is indeed very special.
Allison is a good writer but all the vulgar sex is sickening and why writers can not tell a good story without so much vulgarity is just a way to sell more books ! As far as I see it, it takes away from the story line and just lowers the quality of the writing!!
Missy goes to West Point is an other fantastic book buy P. G. Allison. Missy is a Werecat she also discovers she has other paranormal abilities and spends most of her time trying to learn her abilities limits. As a cadet at West Point she learns to share her abilities with others so she can improve her teams for the better.
She has another run in with the mob. Her fed friends decide it's better to help her than let her run loose. Missy's family and friends must be kept safe and this well written dynamic story is about her learning how to do that. She is learning how best to use her brain and speed and new things keep coming.
This series is so great that I went to war with because I wanted to buy the books not just get them in unlimited. As usual they helped me fix my problem and now I'm the proud owner of five in the series.
There is also some great sex but it is about love and as such even if it's hot it isn't out of place or put in for gratuitous reasons. Mike is her soul mate and they are bonded in body and mind.
Again this is so exciting and well written once you start reading you can't stop.
This is a great follow-up to the first book. Missy continues to learn how to use her abilities. After meeting one of her new roommates at West Point Missy finds that she is not only a werecat but she has other paranormal abilities as well. Missy's uses her abilities to help people and, in doing so, she get's herself involved with the mob. There was some very interesting twists in this story.

The author knows how to write a great story. The detail, imagery and descriptions are fantastic. There are many awesome characters. Missy is so very intelligent and knows how to deal with those that cross the line. She is amazing.

I have enjoyed the first two books in this series and I am looking forward to the next one which I have already purchased. Great story, I highly recommend it for both YA and adult readers. Quick, easy, entertaining story!
