I jus t couldn't get into this book there was too much information about nothing I lost interest around page 88 trying to wait out the trivial points that didn't amount to anything hopefully the story improve I just didn't want to read anymore
Generic writing. Formula problems. Just boring. I’ll try to say something nice - the story is easy to follow so in that sense it’s well told. Maybe a good escape for some. Wishing the author luck; I just think it needs more depth, less manufactured tension and more originality in the language.
It was an easy read with a heart warming story where the characters can fail, get back up and win at life with just a little belief in self. The genre indicated romantic comedy but the romance wasn’t developed much and just kind of appeared in the end so less romantic but still good reading.
I downloaded this book as a sample, based on the title alone. The sample was a well-timed bit of cliffhanger, and I bought it. If you’re prone to thinking feel-good romance is trite, you’ll need to step away. But if determination, decision, and love beckon—open the menu already!

I’m glad Ms. Coleman chose to share her gift. I find it quite enjoyable.
I really should have read the reviews before buying but saw the title and it was recommended on my as a suggested read after finishing a book I really enjoyed. It wasn't bad but I never really got into it. And it was absolutely not funny at all, I can't imagine what anyone would even smirk about. I wouldn't even call it a romance so romantic comedy is just a downright lie.
I really enjoyed this book! I didn’t find it hilarious, but reading about Katie’s roller coaster ride through this chapter of her life left me dreading the final chapter and wanting the author to write a sequel. I love how the author brings the reader’s focus to what is really important- caring for others and oneself. I don’t typically spend much on ebooks, but this was Well Worth it and I look forward to reading more from this author!
I bought this book because the reviews said it was "laugh out loud" funny. I may have chuckled a couple of times, but over I didn't think it was that clever. I've been reading a good bit of light fiction this summer, but this managed to irritate more than amuse. What drove me to distraction was how she went on and on and ON about some fairly insignificant thing -- usually an unfounded fear -- that could have been dealt with in ten words instead of thirty. It was like she came up with several ways of describing this potential disaster, was in love with each one, so she used them all rather than picking one or two. I had to stop reading and jump to the next paragraph. Instead of laughing out loud, I complained out loud. Ugh.

Still, the story of what it's like to open an uber fine dining restaurant was interesting. I also liked most of the characters. She was rather heavy handed with her villains, though. It wasn't a waste of time, but it most definitely wasn't the best I've read this summer.
